Releasing a Credit Authorization Hold MTI=420

In the Cardcom system, you can proactively release a credit authorization hold through the API.
In principle, if a J5 authorization hold is placed, the hold remains for 3 days to two weeks, and sometimes for a month. The duration depends on what the merchant's credit card company has defined for the merchant—namely, how long the merchant can place authorization holds for its customers.

Releasing an authorization hold through the JSON interface

    When calling the function:

    Do Transaction Section

    According to the interface:

    Do Transaction Action

    Under Advanced

For MTI=420, the following parameter must be sent:
    +

ApprovalNumber = the original transaction number for which the credit authorization hold was placed in Cardcom

It is not mandatory to send a Token parameter when releasing an authorization hold.
